Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our DIY calculation services.
Effective date: January 1, 2026
1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using aemacalc.com ("Service"), operated by AEMA AS, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These tools are designed to assist with home improvement estimations and should be used as a guide only.
2 Accuracy of Calculations
While we strive for high precision in our material estimations, actual material needs can vary due to:
- Specific product dimensions (e.g. varying tile sizes or plank widths)
- Wastage due to complex room shapes or installation errors
- Surface conditions (e.g. uneven walls requiring more paint)
- Application methods and individual craftsmanship
Disclaimer: We recommend purchasing 10–15% extra material above the calculated amount to account for waste and future repairs. We are not liable for any shortage or excess of materials purchased based on our calculations.
3 User Responsibilities
When using our platform to plan your renovation projects, you agree to:
- Provide accurate measurements of your space to ensure calculation relevance
- Verify all results with a professional contractor or material supplier before making significant purchases
- Use the Service for personal or professional planning purposes only
No Professional Advice: The information and calculations provided are for general estimation purposes only and do not constitute professional, engineering, architectural, or construction advice. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
