How to use the Laminate Flooring calculator:
Step 1: Measure your rooms
Measure the length and width of each room. For irregular shapes, break them into rectangles.
Step 2: Find pack coverage
Check your laminate box for "coverage per pack". Common sizes are 1.5, 2.0, or 2.5 m² per pack.
Step 3: Add waste percentage
Always add extra for cuts. 8% for simple rooms, 10-12% for complex rooms.
Pro tip: Laminate must sit in the room for at least 48 hours before installation.
