1. Coverage & Overlap
Roofing materials always require overlap to be waterproof. The "Coverage" figure is the effective area a sheet or bundle covers, not its physical size.
2. Underlayment
Most pitched roofs require a breathable membrane (underlay) beneath the hard seal (metal/tiles) to prevent condensation damage.
3. Pitch Safety
Working on a roof is dangerous. For pitches over 20-30 degrees, ensure you have proper scaffolding and harnesses.

Calculation Basics
We take your Net Area and add the Waste %. Then we divide by the coverage per unit to find the total units needed.
